Is Witchcraft real?

Even "mumbo jumbo" can have a powerful effect on the minds of people who believe and even on the minds of suggestible people who don't - The "Placebo effect" is much stronger than most people believe.

As to whether there are any real measurable things going on with witchcraft (a term that is as wide ranging in what it covers as "religion"), whether it's possible to affect another person at a distance through magic, whether spirits exist and can be controlled, etc, etc, etc....No. It's all total BS.

Mind you, if you go around feeding people tetrodotoxins, you can turn them into "zombies".

its real when 70 year old guys can shag young girls pretending its real

witchcraft is as real as religion the manipulation of the weak willed and easily led

i expect its extremely attractive to people who never get the girls or have a perverse need of power over others

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

It#s a religeon with no substance just like every other Religeon in the world which is seriously flawed but many people have to believe in something in life whether it be not eating pork to sticking frogs in pots

There is not one thing different between ideology and religeon

As Ken L has already pointed out, "witchcraft" is not a single religion. Wiccans in the UK would regard themselves as practising witchcraft, but would be horrified to be lumped in with people from certain countries in sub-Saharan Africa who attempt to harm other people by the use of "magic".

It appears that some so-called Christian churches in the UK have been encouraging belief in this form of what used to be called "ill-wishing" and also in the concept of possession by evil spirits:

"It is part of an increasing trend fuelled, in part, in back street churches by pastors who know there is money to be made in what they say is driving out evil spirits."

its real for people who cant take responsibility for their own existence! or who feel the need to off load their burdens onto a godhead figure so that they can fool themselves into being blameless!

which is to say if you believe in it then your mind will be more than capable of making it real!

Please elucidate.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
