Child poverty +

You've got it in one, (apart from the soylent green bit), I was thinking more along the lines of fertiliser, or fuel. It's only humans that make life complicated, with their wishy washy, namby pamby, caring, and thought for others. Life in reality is so simple. You are born, you are protected until you can manage on your own, you procreate as often as you can to make sure your genes are spread about, and then you die. You then fertilise some land so that your ancestors can have a few greens in their diet.

John.

Well if you eat them you can produce your own fertilizer saves on energy there as well, why have a recycling plant to produce fertilizer when the human body (and other animals) can do it equally well with out the unnecessary mechanics.

If anyone is a 2000AD or Judge Dredd fan then you will be well aware of sending bodies to "resyk" where they are recycled into useful materials etc

Of course Mega City One also has a lot of the stuff we've been throwing about here: population control etc

Maybe we need Judges? Is that where to start?

Call Me Dave likes philanthropists, remember the "Big Society"?

Big society what happened to the big society just noticed today davey boy cameron was on a pannel looking into child abuse a while ago and being one of the pannel dismissed it as rubbish skeletons could be rattleing in the wardrobe.

Looks like they were protecting the high and mighty something very nasty could start to smell here.

You don't need to recycle the bodies, just bury them in communal farms. You would need to process the bodies to make food.

The 'must contribute to society' would also apply to all animals as well, so no animals would be kept as pets. Unless an animal can be proven to contribute, then it's designated as food, or fertiliser.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Of course we would do away with trial by jury, you would merely be 'judged' then 'sentenced', unless you have enough money to buy a trial.

With the Judges there was no buying your way out! They were Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Fine, community service, the cubes (prison), exile to Cursed Earth or death!

Nonce protection seems to be the only thing all the parties agree on, perhaps because they've all got skeletons.

Don't be silly Kiri, we're talking about the real world, now. Not in 60 odd years from now, when motorbikes are equipped with A I, machine guns, and laser cannons.

Gozzer,

60 years from now !?? You really are behind on that side of the penny aren't you? Machine gun are "old hat" and lasers are now restricted because they can and do burn an individual’s retinas and cause blindness. We wouldn't want any collateral damage you know.
