How stupid am I, (don't answer that question  ).

But I never even noticed that you had corrected any spelling mistakes Huge, until it was pointed out that is.

Silly me tends to look at contents of the post, as opposed to the grammar.

(Except yours Huge, but I never take much notice of them anyway) ;)

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

It would seem by some radio news reports today that the McCanns are starting a "Fighting Fund", to cover their legal costs in defending themselves.

I must remember not to rush off and contribute.

Of course I don't know all the facts, naturally I believe in the maxim, "innocent until proved guilty", but that doesn't stop me thinking something smelled wrong from the start and disliking Mr McCanns general demeanour.

Even though I am an angler, I am still entitled to express my opinion. :P

You are probably almost as stupid as me, but I can lift heavier things.

As you are aware Gozzer, I rarely fall out with people here, I think I have been the cause of one Thread being pulled and that was when I made a rather childish remark fired at Rabbit. But then I did find it funny and am well known at laughing at my own actions, as well as others misfortune. There is an old Chinese proverb that says something like "A man who laughs at himself is always seen to be smiling."

I take exception when people don't bother to read exactly what you have written and others who feel they have a right to make petty attempts at insults without stoping to think. It seems OK to support somebody else who is being insulting provided they are taking the same stance on the issue as you are.

I already remarked on some comments as did Rabbit, we had comment by the Moderating team and the issue ended there.

If you and 3 other people on here care to remember I gave my view on this matter with a PM, and if anybody else cares to look, they too will find my first indication of what I felt expressed on May 7th. Four days after she dissapeared. Yet it is OK for some to make accusations and assumptions aimed at me, fair enough. Each has a right to express their opinion but some do not allow others to do the same.

I don't even read them myself mate, I finally managed to hack the database and only people who are certifiably mad can even see my posts let alone read them. ;) (Doesn't apply to Mods. who have NO CHOICE but to read my posts :lol: )

Fighting Fund, has all the other money gone ???

No, but the terms established by the trustees won't allow them (quite rightly) to use the money to pay for their legal costs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did they try and use the money to hire a legal team but got the request turned down? I seem to recall reading it somewhere, wouldn't have been in the 'gutter press' as I havn't bought or read a 'paper' in years.

Apparently(i like that word) There is nothing in the terms to say that the money cannot be spent on themselves, but the directors of the fund considered that it would be inappropriate. If they are innocent, they have nothing to fear.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
