We couldn't negotiate the terms of our departure, until after article 50 had been triggered. It was article 50 that said we we're leaving, until then we weren't, so what was there to negotiate?

Parliament ratified article 50, and then a majority said they would implement the result of the referendum. After article 50 was implemented, then we should have been negotiating in earnest. Those negotiations were to decide on how we left the EU, and under what agreed terms. There was plenty of scope for compromise from all sides, but no, there were those that were determined to try and stop us leaving at all cost, and in doing so, caused the problems we have now. Tony Blair advising the EU, Corbyn holding discussions with them, and the Lib Dems even went to the extremes of having Guy Verhofstadt with them while canvassing for the recent MEP elections, if that isn't meant to stir the crap what is?

As for changing minds, I know a few people that have said that although they voted leave, this kind of behaviour has caused them to change their minds, and others, who I respect, for saying that although they voted leave, agree to go with the majority result, because that the democratic thing to do.

 

We will see at 10-o-clock tonight how the people feel about this 3 year old farce, as well as how those in the EU feel about their situation.

Presumably, you are not concerned in the least by the shenanigans of big tech, media and others that made that happen.

The man was lied about. He was unpersoned and not only was he blocked from social media but anyone sharing content featuring his name or face was getting their account suspended too.

Even when a rally being attended by women and kids was attacked in Oldham by thugs throwing rocks, all we got was a "violence flared" story that was carefully worded to make readers believe that it was Robinson's followers that initiated the violence.

Election leaflets were also blocked, with post office staff openly boasting that they had refused to do the job that they were paid to do.

 

You can laugh at tyranny when the tyrant is on your side but things change.

 

What happened to Robinson in this election is disgusting and would still be disgusting even if it were happening to the likes of Chuka Ummuna or Anna Soubry.

Funny you mentioned the trouble in Oldham the other day one of my customers Steve who is a an ex inspector in the police I think he was in Manchester was actually telling me all about it and said it kicked off big style but never really made it into the media . Edited May 27, 2019 by big_cod

And did he also tell you that the police escorted the group of more than 100 young Muslim men wearing face masks to the venue, knowing that they were intent on violence and then failed to make a single arrest even though they were hurling rocks at kids while standing 2m from a copper?
Did he tell you that Tommy was sharing the stage with a Pakistani guy that day?
The violence isn't the issue though, the issue is that voices are being removed from the digital public square and the free exchange of ideas is now being prevented.
Even the most odious people from all sides of the political spectrum should have a platform and a voice. Sunlight is afterall the best disinfectant - just look at what it did for Nick Griffin.

We already have well established laws on incitement, defamation etc and these are sufficient, without mass censorship.

Edit: Just been and found a video posted the day before the election. Are you most worried about the mixed crowd, where the gay pride flag is flying alongside the Union Jack, English flag and the Star of David or the black block of leftist thugs with their red flags and refusal to engage in debate?
