nige sent this to the 'his door is always open' barnier, guess what response he got following defrocked unelected clegg and co's meeting

“Dear Monsieur Barnier,

As you appear to be conducting a series of meetings with UK political figures on the issue of Brexit I wish to make a request.

As leader of the Party, UKIP, which won the European Elections of 2014 I would like to hold a meeting with you in Brussels.

It seems that you are listening to a group of people who want to stop or delay Brexit. I will come to speak for the 17.4 million who did not vote for a transition deal or any further delays and whose resolve is getting stronger.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely

Nigel Farage, MEP”.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

What? Now he is pretending to be an MEP again and actually do his job?

BTW, someone should tell him, he is no longer leader of the party.

All,

What a swell idea (NOT!)

Remoaners plot more trouble: Tory rebels put Government at risk with new demands despite being offered a vote on the final Brexit deal.

Do you use the "f" word in the UK?

Well, poor old Nicola (anything is an excuse for another indiref) & Leanne's (It doesn't matter how the electorate voted, they are thick) power grab and attempt to show they are more important than the rest gets smashed to bits with a 250 vote majority to Govt.

The right of ECJ to interfere with UK Courts after Brexit, gone by a twenty majority.

All other Amendments to the EU Withdrawal Bill so far voted on go in the clear favour of the Govt. despite the Number of Tories 'queuing up' to get rid of WWOS as mentioned on here, well not 'mentioned' so much as the 'look at what's going to happen because I've read it in a newspaper.' Posters.

Debate has stopped for now, rather glad because it is getting late and I am running out of other things to do whilst waiting for division results. Very funny though the spat betwix Frank Field and Hilary Benn, sad really because I happen to like both of them, but still funny. But the main point of Field's in his speech today remains with all who say the UK cannot do it, for all the 'experts' who say the UK is 'too small' to survive in today's economy, I could go through it and point out the times when we did 'do it,' but prefer, as usual to answer with an old saying. 'It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.'

Hugh,

Your "dog" analogy reminded me of when I was a pup. As a small business man I always kept these tenants on my desk.

Behind success are four critical factors: visionary leadership, a friendly business climate, a commitment to training, and a spirit of collaboration.

Four factors are critical for success:

  • visionary leaders who have a clear economic development strategy and who work actively to recruit international companies;
  • a hospitable business climate and a positive work ethic that attract innovative manufacturing companies seeking to make long-term investments;
  • customized training and gradual upgrading of workers’ skills; and
  • collaboration within the business community and between business and government to improve quality and business performance

I wonder how you would respond to each point in view of the divisive nature the UK finds itself in with BREXIT.

While I don't want to influence your response it seems to me there is a serious question whether the UK can pull off all but my third factor.

You know in a good chicken fight a cock will kill itself in a mirror.

You need to sort through the chaff to get to the wheat phone, including the remainiacs doom and gloom prophecies those who do will see the government is encouraging business tentacles and are cast far and wide. there's enough info out there, go seek. Some are over your side of the pond this week.

Nope, the torpedo landed under the remainiacs last night with the bill moving ever forward with a 250 majority vote. What is remaining is the pathetic clutching at straws squabbling over the actual date. That will pass as well. :thumbs:

Have you been reading the HBJ?

Perhaps it would be simpler for you to tell me why you think 'UK PLC' would not be able to meet these factors, otherwise we could be discussing for days.
