They voted to eat poor quality food Paul. They made their bed, let the buggers lie in it.

If they want to eat crappy US chicken and hormon and antibiotic fed factory beef then bid them "bon appetit".

And bon appetit to you and cod as you feast on your fipronil contaminated eggs courtesy of your friends in the EU and your ropey horse meat sold as "beef" Edited by snakey1

Since when has a government, any government been responsible for crimes committed on its soil?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Brexit lost in space that sums up the whole Brexit scenario galactic scale of stupidity.

Balance Paul, balance,

quoted from your link,

A spokesperson for the UK Space Agency (UKSA) said Dr Marshall's pessimism was not shared across industry and pointed to the recent "Size and Health" survey of British space businesses.

This found that 73% of organisations expected income to grow over the next three years and 48% of those expected that growth to be more than 10% higher than in the previous three years.

"Space is a truly global endeavour and a key part of the government's modern Industrial Strategy, with over £100m committed for new space infrastructure and a further £92m to develop options for a UK global satellite navigation system," the spokesperson told BBC News.

"We have an excellent track record of working closely with the sector to drive growth, create jobs and collaborate with partners in Europe and the rest of the world.

"This will continue once we leave the EU. We are committed to close international partnerships on space and science programmes, and will remain a leading member of the European Space Agency, which is independent of the EU."

So the US dictates the terms of any trade deal and the UK WILL go along with it.

I thought that a major part of Brexit meant not being told what to do by people who you hadn't elected. Seems that this is OK now and that chlorinated chicken was what we wanted all along.

Oh, and by the way, don't get up to any trade deals with China without getting approval from the US first.

One giant step forwards, three giant steps backwards.

Who are you going to blame this on?

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Tut, tut. You're forgetting that Brexiteers are cock-holsters for Trump.

Cory,

Don't worry - Trumpies are dying right and left from eating our chicken. You'll have the West all to your own.

Phone

(Why are "remainers" insistent on "the sky is falling"? No one is reinventing civilization - you're just leaving Europe.)

When did I say the sky is falling. I hope we leave with this wonderful "no deal" that they all champ their gums about. The sooner we hit that cold hard floor of the WTO the better.

Brexit had better be a sucessor a whole lot of people are going to look really stupid.
